Hocus Pocus 2 – starting September 30
Thirty years after their film appearance, the gruesome Sanderson sisters return in ‘Hocus Pocus 2’. The three witches straight out of the 18th century are thirsty for revenge and promise to attack the town of Salem. But three high school students have every intention of getting in their way and ruining their plans.
What a pleasure to find Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy in the skin of their respective characters. Also starring Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Doug Jones (The Shape of Water) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) in the cast.
The Mummy’s Secret – from October 7
A modern take on the 1997 Halloween Mummy, “The Mummy’s Secret” follows three 12-year-old friends – Marshall, Gilbert, and Amy – who find themselves helping a 3,000-year-old mummy, whom he nicknames Harold, in their neighbour’s cellar. The gang finds themselves confronted by a crook who is trying to sell the stolen sarcophagus. A race against time begins to bring their new friend back to his resting place before he turns to dust and loses his immortal soul forever.
Marvel Studio presents: Werewolf by night – starting October 7
One of the most anticipated fall fictions on Disney+, “Werewolf by night” follows, on a moonless night, the regrouping of a group of monster hunters in the terrifying Bloodstone Temple after the death of their leader. During a strange ceremony given in his memory, the members of this secret organization will embark on a mysterious competition in order to recover a magical relic. But among them hides a formidable monster who will certainly complicate their task.
A film signed by director Michael Giacchino, with Gael Garcia Bernal, Laura Donnelly, and Harriet Sansom Harris in the main roles.
Grimcutty: Network Hell – from October 10
Parents in a town panic when an internet meme called “Grimcutty” appears in schoolyards. The latter are then convinced that their children are hurting themselves and others because of this. When a version of the Grimcutty comes to life, and attacks Asha Chaudry, her parents think she’s self-harming as part of a challenge, and confiscates her phone. While no one wants to believe her, threatened by the monster, the young girl will try everything to put the Grimcutty out of harm’s way.

Maleficent: Power of Evil – from October 21
Years after warding off the curse that weighed on her, Princess Aurora accepts Prince Philippe’s marriage proposal. A union that Maleficent does not see with a good eye. Sensing danger on the horizon, she opposes this marriage, which she believes threatens the kingdom of the Moor and the people of the fairies. New dark forces are at work, and Maleficent intends to stop them from taking everything she cares about.
In October 2019, Angelina Jolie put on the costume of Maleficent again in this sequel where she gives the reply to Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein, Chiwetel Ejiofor, or even Harris Dickinson.
