The best horror movies and series to watch on Netflix

The Netflix catalog is bloated. It has more than 2,500 films and 1,200 series to see in France, according to Flixable, and explores many genres. It is constantly evolving, programs are added and removed every week. If you feel like shivering, Netflix offers 139 films and 54 series classified in the horror category. These range from horror classics like Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ to zombie comedies like ‘Welcome to Zombieland’.

To help you choose which horror movie or series to watch on Netflix, Business Insider France has compiled a ranking of the 10 best films and 10 best series of the genre currently available. In order to make these two lists, we looked at their rating on the IMDb site. This average out of 10 is calculated from the ratings given by users of the site. These two rankings reflect what the Netflix catalog offered at the time it was produced – April 17, 2019 – and have been able to evolve since.
