This 2022-2023 season promises its share of suspense with regard to the highest level of the district. Already, six teams from the country of Loudeac are presented. Which promises beautiful derbies.
Then, impossible to predict a real favorite for the rise in R3 or a team in greater difficulty, even if we know that certain formations are more armed than others on paper.
Let’s talk about La Motte which has strengthened quite a bit during the off-season. The “return” ofErwan Urvoix d’Uzel-Merléac (in R2 last year) is already a big reinforcement. Not to mention the arrival of the rearguard of the B du Loudéac OSC (ascent in R2), Kieran Andre and paul Bezely. To this are added other arrivals such as that of Johann Duclos who participated in the climb of the B de Plaintel in R3 or that of Gurvan André FC Saint Bugan.
Apart from the “poor performance” at Saint-Caradec in the Coupe de France, La Motte has ensured its start to the season well by having, almost easily, two D2 teams in the Brittany Cup. That is to say the level displayed by the men of Pierre-Louis Le Bescaut.
On the side of FC Tied, there was the departure of some executives, due in particular to the descent of R3. But the team remains solid, like the two games played against their future opponents, Plounevez-Lanrivain and Ploeuc-sur-Lie. Each time, the duel ended in penalties. Proof that nothing will be won in this group, and that an immediate rise in R3 would not be easy.
the FC La Croix-Corlay can testify, he who also faced one of the promoted in D1, Allineuc. There too, it was played in the lottery. Moreover, the “remake” of this meeting will take place this Sunday on the occasion of the first day of the championship.
The other promoted, last minute, Truce, should play hold. A team that has long pursued Allineuc, last year, in D2.
Finally, theESAP Plumieux will try to do as well as last season (4e of D1). And this, under the leadership of his new trainer, Guy Robert, thanks to a few recruits, while integrating three young people from GJ du Lié. “We will have a difficult championship to approach with real battles and, sometimes, unexpected results”, indicates the president, Georges Debuchy.
Matches this weekend in D1: Saint-Brandan Quintib
